Dubai Golf City Holiday Homes & Monthly Stays

Dubai Golf City is a newer residential community in the inland part of Dubai, built around green open space, where a stay trades closeness to the sights for quiet and room to spread out.

Where Dubai Golf City is, and what it is like

Dubai Golf City sits in the newer, inland half of the city, away from the coast and the central tower districts. As the name suggests, it was planned with golf and open green space in mind rather than packed in between highways.

It is a residential community, and that is the honest description of it. People live here, many of them for the long term, and what happens day to day is an ordinary, quiet week rather than a stream of visitors.

Like much of inland Dubai, it is still growing. New buildings continue to go up in and around the community, so the surroundings can look different from one year to the next.

Who it suits

It suits longer stays more than short ones. A month with green space around you and more room inside the apartment is a different experience from a month in a central tower, and it usually costs less.

It suits families and anyone who values calm and green space over being in the middle of things.

It suits people with work in the inland business and logistics districts, which are closer from here than from the coast.

It does not suit a short sightseeing trip. The beaches, Downtown and the Marina are all drives, and on a stay of a few nights that time on the road adds up.

Getting around

Like most of the newer inland communities, Dubai Golf City is laid out for driving, and a car is genuinely useful here in a way it is not in central Dubai. The major inland highways make it straightforward to get out in any direction.

Taxis and ride-hailing do reach the community, and for most guests without a car they are the way to get about. Plan for rides rather than walks to anything beyond the community itself.

The airports, the coast and the city centre are all journeys rather than short hops. That is the trade being made, and it is why the same size of home costs less here.

What the homes are like

Homes here are in newer residential buildings, which shows in the finish. Many look out over greenery rather than other towers, and the pace inside the buildings is quiet.

As residential homes they come with a full kitchen, laundry in the home and a living room that is a proper room. Most buildings have a pool and a gym for residents, and guests use them as a resident would.

What is free changes with the dates, so the best guide is to put your dates in and see which homes are actually available.

What staying with fäm Living is like

Our homes are licensed with Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and registered on the Holiday Homes system, wherever in the city they are.

Check-in is done in person by our Dubai team, cleaning follows the same standard between every stay, and a local team is on hand if something needs fixing.

Booking direct means the nightly rate and the cleaning fee with nothing added in the middle. The price is for your actual dates, and on a longer stay the reduction is where most of the value lies.
