Arjan Holiday Homes & Monthly Stays, Dubai
Arjan is a newer residential district in Dubailand, close to Al Barsha South and the Dubai Miracle Garden, made up mostly of modern mid-rise apartment buildings.
Where Arjan is, and what it is like
Arjan sits in the inland part of the city known as Dubailand, next to Al Barsha South and a short drive from Jumeirah Village Circle. It is best known to visitors as the district beside the Dubai Miracle Garden, the flower park that opens through the cooler months.
It is a district of apartment buildings rather than villas. Most are mid-rise and recently built, and new ones are still going up, so Arjan feels modern and, in places, still filling in. As in any growing part of Dubai, there can be construction nearby, which is worth knowing if quiet matters to you.
It is residential first. People live here because the apartments are newer and roomier for the money than in the central districts, and the area has the supermarkets, cafés, pharmacies and clinics that everyday life needs.
Who it suits
It suits longer stays well. A modern apartment with a full kitchen, laundry and a building pool, at a lower cost than the coast or Downtown, is the kind of trade that pays off over weeks rather than nights.
It suits people working in the inland districts and along the southern highways, and anyone with reasons to be in the newer half of Dubai rather than the old centre.
It suits families who want modern space and do not mind driving to the beach and the sights.
It is a weaker choice for a short first visit. The landmarks, the beaches and the older parts of the city are all drives from Arjan, and on a short trip that time adds up.
Getting around
Arjan is not on the metro, so a car, taxis or ride-hailing are part of staying here. The district sits close to the main inland highways, which makes it straightforward to reach the rest of the city by road.
Taxis reach the buildings without difficulty and are how most visitors without a car get about. Within Arjan, distances between buildings are short, though the heat decides how much anyone walks for a good part of the year.
Dubai Marina, the beaches and Downtown are all drives. That is the honest trade, and it is why the same apartment costs less here than closer in.
What the apartments are like
Almost everything you can stay in here is an apartment in a mid-rise residential building. Because the district is new, so are most of the buildings, and the finishes tend to be contemporary.
They are homes rather than hotel rooms: a full kitchen, a washing machine in the apartment, and a living room with space to use. Most buildings have a pool and a gym for residents, and guests in our homes use them like any resident.
Sizes run from studios to larger apartments. Which ones are free changes with the dates, so the reliable answer is to put your dates in and see what is available.
What staying with fäm Living is like
Our homes in Arjan are licensed by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and registered on the Holiday Homes system, in the same way as every home we run. A short-term let without that permit is not legal in Dubai.
Check-in is done in person by our own team in Dubai. The cleaning standard is the same before every stay, and if something needs fixing, a local team comes to fix it.
Booking direct here means you pay the nightly rate and the cleaning fee, and nothing else on top. The quote is for your actual dates and includes the lower rate that applies to longer stays.
