Why The Edge works as a holiday home
The Edge is a two-tower Select Group development in Business Bay, on the edge of Downtown Dubai with the Dubai Canal on the other side. The homes are one and two-bedroom apartments with bold, colourful interiors, and many look towards the Burj Khalifa, the canal or the Business Bay skyline. The towers were handed over in October 2026.
Residents share a large podium leisure deck with an infinity pool, a gym and an outdoor gym, padel, pickleball and basketball courts, a yoga deck, a sprint track, a barbecue area and lounges, plus a co-working space, games room and social lounge indoors. For a guest staying a week or a month, that is exactly what a listing should show.
Business Bay fills two kinds of calendar. Holiday visitors book by the night to be minutes from The Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa without hotel prices. Professionals, relocating families and companies book by the month, all year, because Business Bay is one of the city's main office districts. fäm Living already runs holiday homes in Business Bay towers, so our team, cleaners and maintenance people are in the district every day.

Leave your WhatsApp number. The 10% management fee is reserved for your unit from that moment.

Walk-through and agreement
We meet you at the apartment, check it over with you and send one management agreement. You keep the ownership.

Holiday home permit
We register the unit with Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism and handle the building's paperwork.
- 04
Furnishing and photography
We furnish or finish it to a standard that photographs well and lasts, run an inventory check, then shoot it.

Live on every platform
Your apartment goes live on Airbnb, Booking.com and our own site, priced to the market every day.

Guests handled, you get paid
Check-in, cleaning, linen and maintenance are ours. You follow bookings and payouts in the owner portal.

- Can I rent out my The Edge apartment as a holiday home?
- Yes, once the unit holds a holiday home permit from Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism and the building's management has approved short stays. We check the building's position and arrange the permit as part of onboarding.
- Does The Edge allow short-term rentals?
- Short stays in any Dubai building need the building management's acceptance and a holiday home permit for the unit. Rules can differ by building and change over time, so we confirm The Edge's current position in writing for your unit before anything is listed, and arrange the permit as part of onboarding.
- Can I put my The Edge apartment on Airbnb?
- Yes. We list apartments at The Edge on Airbnb, Booking.com and our own site as licensed holiday homes, and run them by the night and by the month. The permit, pricing, guests, cleaning and payouts are handled by our team.
- Who manages holiday homes at The Edge, Business Bay?
- fäm Living, the holiday homes company of fäm Properties, which already runs homes in Business Bay towers. We handle the permit, furnishing, photography, listings, pricing, guests, cleaning and maintenance. You keep the ownership and the income.
- What does holiday home management cost at The Edge?
- The Edge owners who sign by 31 December 2026 pay a 10% management fee, locked in for as long as we manage the unit.
- I just got the keys at The Edge. What should I do first?
- Have the apartment snagged, so the developer fixes any small faults before furniture goes in. Then talk to us: the permit, furnishing, inventory and photos can run alongside, so the apartment is ready for its first guest soon after.
- Is a short term rental better than a yearly tenant at The Edge?
- It depends on the unit and your plans. A short term rental earns by the night or the month, follows Business Bay demand through the year and leaves the apartment free for your own visits. We give you an honest view for your unit in the free consultation.
- Can I still use the apartment myself?
- Yes. You block your own dates in the owner portal whenever you want to stay.
A 10% management fee for The Edge owners owners, in place of our standard rate, for as long as fäm Living manage the unit. For units in The Edge with a management agreement signed by 31 December 2026. Holiday home use is subject to the building’s approval and a DET permit, both of which we arrange.
