Planning a long flight soon?

We’ve all been there! Once in a while we all have to take that inevitable long-haul flight to go to that much awaited vacation.

This long flight to get to your destination can sometimes be a less-than-pleasant time.

However, we have curated a few things you can do to get yourself through that long haul!

Find that Sweet Spot

These days most airlines like Emirates Airlines offer online check-in options where you can select your seat well in advance. If you prefer catching up on some sleep throughout your flight, get yourself a window seat so that you are not disturbed. If you are travelling with kids or infants, you may request for a basinet seat - a good reason to get that extra leg room ;). If you are tall and require that extra leg room, consider selecting seats close to the emergency exits.

Be Well Prepared

A couple of weeks before your flight, you can start planning as to what you would like to consider carrying with you on board. This should include items such as a blanket, a neck roll, an eye-mask (if you may), and a pair of earplugs. The idea is to carry anything that can make your travels comfier, unless you are travelling first class!

Dress Comfortably

Although air travel doesn’t come with a dress code, choosing your outfit wisely can help make your travels more relaxed and comfortable. We all know that flights usually get a little chilly, so using warm & comfortable clothes could help keeping you cocooned and warm throughout your journey.

Avoid Stressing!

Although we understand that from time to time, we might get a little anxious about flying, try to relax and plan your documents, airport transfers etc. well in advance so that you are not stressed before your flight. If you experience anxiety every time you fly, consider meeting your doctor before your flight and he could prescribe some medication that could keep you at ease during your flight.
